OverClock Report - Northwood Acceleration -
Even if an important part is broken by OverCloking, it is the responsibility of yourself.
Four kinds of Northwood were accelerated by the gas cooling package "Vapochill"+Socket 478Kit made of asetek.
The cooling performance of this "Vapochill 7th Generation" has the ability of -25 degrees C (Vapochill LED) without the load.
Because there is high cooling ability Core Voltage was set up to 1.95V.
The operation temperature was showing -5 degrees C (Vapochill LED) and 28 degrees C (MBProbe) at the biggest load.
Needless to say, the Overclock ability of each CPU differs and there is the difference of 150 ~300MHz with the air cooling.
Even if uses Vapochill this difference hardly changed.
Accordingly, only the 2.2GHz version reached 3GHz, although the attainment clock result became various.
