OverClock Report - Northwood SL67R 3059MHz -
Even if an important part is broken by OverCloking, it is the responsibility of yourself.
The Pentium 4 2.4GHz version that was created from the 300 mm wafers was announced from Intel on April 2, 2002.
The CPU that we tried is SL67R of 4 weeks production and the standard Vcore1.5V, the internal multiplier is x24 fixation.
As for this the excellent Overclocking ability was shown, although there is not a change on the existing Northwood and Stepping.
This CPU can reach 2819MHz (117x24) successfully with standard Vcore.
Because the lowest ability of the 1.6AGHz version was about 2.1GHz the difference existed even about 700MHz.
Furthermore, it succeeded in the operation of 3059MHz (127x24) with Vcore1.75V (Mainboard Remodelled).
At last the era of air cooling 3GHz seems to have come.
