OverClock Report - Palomino 1713MHz - Even if an important part is broken by OverCloking, it is the responsibility of yourself. This is Overclocking of the XP1800+ processor that becomes a high speed model in the Athlon XP (Palomino) series. The acquisition CPU is Athlon XP 1800+ (36weeks) and the real operation clock is 1.53GHz (133x11.5) specification. The L1 bridge of this CPU is opening. Although it tried the existing easy tool the internal multiplier change failed. As for Overclock ability the result of standard Vcore1.75V 1642MHz(143x11.5) and Vcore2.05V 1713MHz(149x11.5) were obtained. In comparison with the Overclocking result of most inexpensive version Athlon XP 1500+, the operation clock of the internal became about 115MHz advantage. However, low performance was shown in a part of Benchmark, because the internal multiplier of x11.5 lowered FSB.
