OverClock Report - Palomino 1598MHz -
Even if an important part is broken by OverCloking, it is the responsibility of yourself.
The Athlon XP (Palomino) series that adopted the newly model number was announced from AMD on October 10, 2001.
The acquisition CPU is Athlon XP 1500+ (35weeks) and the real operation clock is 1.33GHz (133x10) specification.
The appearance changed to the brown from conventional medium purple by the change of the package base material.
Also, the ratio change by the L1 bridge connection became difficult because the surface wiring pattern of the bridge was lost.
Furthermore, the result that had better adjust the pressure of an existing cooler seems to be obtained,
because the height of the core became low.
As for Overclock ability the result of standard Vcore1.75V 1529MHz (153x10) and Vcore2.05V 1598MHz (160x10) were obtained.
