OverClock Report - Athlon 926MHz - Even if an important part is broken by OverCloking, it is the responsibility of yourself. Athlon 550MHz in 52 weeks of the rumor gets and I disassembled this. The one that I saw was the 750MHz core of the 0.25um of surprise! However, L2 Cache was SEC3.6ns (275MHz guarantee) of standard installation. As for this CPU the high core ability is predicted. However, L2 Cache of a low guarantee may become a problem. Accordingly, I lowered L2 Cache to 2/5 clk setting. And, the CPU internal clock changed it to x4.25 from x2.75. This CPU can reach 926MHz (218x4.25) successfully with air cooling! The L2 Cache margin is high contrary to expectation and it reached even instantaneous 960MHz (226x4.25).
